Job Overview:
You will have complete sales responsibility for your territory, meet budgeted sales volume, dollars and profitability. Account managers are required to travel within their assigned geographical territory to accomplish those goals. Using product and application knowledge gained from suppliers, the account manager is expected to create sales opportunities by identifying customer needs and providing a suitable solution.
Reporting Structure:
You will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain existing customer sales, building diverse and solid relationships to increase our position within these customers.
- Work closely with PM, CSR and Logistics to ensure complete satisfaction with our products and service.
- Identify, target and acquire new customers within your sales territory.
- Provide solutions to customers’ needs based on our broad range of product lines.
- Provide technical assistance and personalized service to your customers.
- Participate in events and trade shows specific to your product lines.
- Support business unit campaigns to drive new account development and sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of sales experience in the Construction CASE Coatings, Adhesive, Sealants, Elastomers (ingredients) with a proven track record. New graduates will be considered.
- University degree with preference for Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, other scientific discipline
- Entrepreneurial & Competitive spirit for business growth
- Superior problem-solving & negotiating skills
- Able to work with autonomy - Well organized - Recognize priorities and manages accordingly
- Proven ability to manage details on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office, Outlook, ERP and Internet
- Is available to work outside business hours and to travel away from home
- Experience with the coatings and construction market
The successful candidate requires minimal supervision, is outgoing, builds relationships easily, is goal oriented, show strong organizational and time management skills and demonstrate internal team spirit, required to have a valid Driver’s license, insurance and passport to travel internationally
Salary Range
- $65,000 to $85,000 CAD

Skills Required
- 1+ years sales experience in Construction CASE (Coatings, Adhesive, Sealants, Elastomers) with proven track record

- Experience with the coatings and construction market
