Hadrian – Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

We recently raised $260 million dollar Series C to accelerate this mission. We are excited to be launching a new Factory in Mesa, Arizona, a 270,000 square foot facility that will create 350 new jobs immediately. We are opening a new headquarters to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to serve naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.

Hadrian works with startups, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and major defense contractors across space, shipbuilding, and aviation to scale production, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery on mission-critical programs. We are backed by leading investors including Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz. Our fast-growing team is united by a shared mission to reindustrialize American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond!

The Role

CAM Execution is a process engineering role in which the team troubleshoots, diagnosis and develops fixes for CAM processes running through the entire factory. During the process we work with all teams within the factory to discover the necessary solution for a reliable, consistent and repeatable fix to a process. The team regularly diagnoses CNC programs, setups on machine, CMM process and results, GD&T on prints and operators process to discover where the error is happening.

We are looking for an individual with strong problem-solving skills, familiarity with machining, knowledge of part manufacture problems and solutions, great cross functional skills and a desire to solve the hardest issues within the factory. You will directly affect the overall process at Hadrian and improve it.

  • Team Collaboration – You will work with other teams to gain the knowledge needed to make informed changes to the process. These teams will include CAM programming, Go to Market, Quality, CMM programming, Applications and Automation.

  • System improvement – While you are solving the part process issues required it will be expected that you are also analyzing the system as a whole and working to improve the overall part manufacturing process within Hadrian. You will be at the heart of the company. Your perspective and ideas will be invaluable for company improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • High lvl Problem Solving – When there is an issue with the process there is a high level of complications that can lead to problem. Understanding the cause, getting to the solution and implementing the fix quickly is where you will operate.

  • Part Process Knowledge – A history of coming up with the part manufacture process, programming, setting up and troubleshooting processes.

  • Software – Experience in CNC software, CAD modeling software and generic windows PC understanding.

  • Communication – Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Machining Knowledge – You will be relied on to have a large amount of machining and or inspection knowledge. You will also be working with other people regularly and be expected to teach and share knowledge with those around you.
