The Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
• Create part models, assembly layouts, detailed drawings, and bills of materials using Creo for solid modeling and PDMLink for data management
• Requirement implementation and minimizing costs
• Work with manufacturing personnel to assess and implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) into design work
• Complete and conduct various program communications such as status reports, meetings, and peer reviews
• Execute engineering design changes for part and assembly drawings
• Actively participate in project scheduling and budgeting
• Validate concepts through engineering models and prototypes
• Interact and coordinate with all engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive design, engineering, and specification packages
Qualifications:
Required:
• Exhibit understanding in manufacturing and prototyping in an array of engineering materials
• Exhibit ability to perform conceptual and detailed cost estimating within engineering discipline, exhibits estimating with other disciplines a plus
• Exhibit ability to drive projects from initial concept through completion with minimal oversight
• Adaptable to varying assignments as the design team grows and client base increases both in location and job responsibilities
• Exhibit Creo skills with a commitment to best modeling practices
• Exhibit understanding of GD&T

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$66,100 - $135,600Skills Required
