Your Role:

Developing advanced computer vision algorithms for automotive interior (in-cabin) or exterior cameras
-
Creating algorithm prototypes in Python
-
Writing high quality, tested and efficient algorithms in C++ for our embedded AI/ML SW stack
-
Filing patent applications to strengthen the APTIV IP footprint
-
Working in an agile SW development team
Your Background:
-
Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field
-
Strong software development skills in C++ and/or Python
-
Passion for clean, well-tested, and documented code
-
Motivated learner
-
Fluent in English
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills & good interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team
Nice to have:

Knowledge of classical computer vision algorithms

Knowledge of machine learning/artificial intelligence, model building and evaluation

Knowledge of common ML frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, fast.ai)

Knowledge of camera calibration
-
Practical experience with Linux, version control systems (Git), build systems (Make, CMake) and code review tools (Gerrit, Gitlab, Bitbucket)
