The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst IV to support the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) program. This position serves as the functional bridge between Government stakeholders, end users, and technical development teams to deliver enterprise maintenance, logistics, and modernization capabilities supporting the U.S. Navy.

The Business Systems Analyst IV is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and managing business and system requirements supporting mission-critical applications used throughout the Naval maintenance enterprise. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Government Product Owners, software developers, testers, architects, and operations personnel to translate complex business needs into actionable functional requirements while ensuring solutions align with program objectives and operational workflows.

This position requires a highly collaborative individual with experience supporting Agile software development, enterprise modernization initiatives, and DoD information systems
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enterprise software enhancements.
  • Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, interviews, and demonstrations with functional users and technical teams.
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, and process models.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Serve as liaison between Government customers, software development teams, quality assurance personnel, and system architects.
  • Perform impact analyses for proposed enhancements and system changes.
  • Validate requirements throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure delivered functionality satisfies business objectives.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and production readiness activities.
  • Support configuration management and requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop business process documentation, operational procedures, and end-user training materials.
  • Participate in production support activities by analyzing functional issues and coordinating resolution with technical teams.
  • Support system demonstrations, customer briefings, and milestone reviews.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience performing business systems analysis for enterprise software systems.
  • Minimum 5 years supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs.
  • Experience gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, business process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Experience supporting Agile software development methodologies (Scrum and/or SAFe).
  • Experience facilitating meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile lifecycle management tools.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting Navy maintenance, logistics, or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Naval Shipyard maintenance processes.
  • Experience supporting SAP-based solutions.
  • Experience supporting software modernization initiatives.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$105,100-$231,100
