The Role

The Finance IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for driving improvements in the processes and technologies that support Finance and Accounting. This role involves working closely with the internal Finance team to effectively collect requirements, design, develop, manage, support, and implement changes to the financial systems landscape. The primary focus of this role will be serving as a Subject Matter Expert for all Financial Systems specifically ERP and Revenue Management applications and integrations.

What You'll Do

  • Project Foundation: Capture business context, including problem definitions, current and future states, objectives, and business cases
  • Requirements & Traceability: Develop detailed business, user, process, and system requirements (functional and non-functional) mapped to the business vision
  • Process Mapping: Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops to diagram and elaborate on current and future state application workflows
  • Lifecycle Management: Lead full development lifecycle activities, including design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Issue Resolution: Research and resolve high-priority and advanced application issues
  • System Expertise: Provide technical and functional expertise across financial systems
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain functional, technical, and internal process documentation
  • Integration Coordination: Partner with integration teams to ensure efficient communication between mission-critical applications
  • Team Development: Build expertise and grow capabilities among fellow team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Business Analyst experience with implementation or hands-on administration of NetSuite ERP/Financial Systems platforms and Revenue Accounting
  • Understanding of business accounting & financial processes
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Coaching and mentoring of team members to grow internal knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of SOX Audit processes & controls, evidence collection, and audit support

Nice to Have

  • Preferred experience with NetSuite ARM/ Zuora RevPro
  • Prior experience with a Software or Professional Services Industry
  • Experience with Integration Mapping & ETL Tools and Methods (e.g. Dell Boomi, Stitch)

Compensation

  • Base pay: $70,000 - $110,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
