Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst partners with business and technology teams to improve processes, systems, and data solutions that support organizational goals. This role analyzes business needs, identifies opportunities for improvement, and helps deliver technology solutions that enhance efficiency, customer experience, and operational performance. The Business Systems Analyst gathers requirements, supports system enhancements, develops reports and analytics, coordinates testing activities, and works with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs. This position will be filled at either the Business Systems Analyst III or Business Systems Analyst IV level based on the selected candidate's experience, skills, and business needs.

Salary Range

  • BSA III: $95,000 - $110,000

  • BSA IV: $110,000 - $125,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and system needs to identify solutions and improvement opportunities.

  • Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements.

  • Support system implementations, enhancements, configurations, and automations.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data insights to support decision-making.

  • Coordinate testing, troubleshoot issues, and partner with stakeholders and vendors to resolve system challenges.

Skills and Background You'll Need

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:

  • BSA III: 4+ years of experience in business analysis, systems administration, project management, loan administration, data management, or related financial services environments

  • BSA IV: 8+ years of experience in business analysis, systems administration, project management, loan administration, data management, or related financial services environments

  • Experience gathering business requirements, analyzing complex business processes, and delivering technology-based solutions.

  • Advanced proficiency in at least two of the following: Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, SQL Server, TOAD, VBA, Agile methodology, Lean methodology, SDLC principles and practices, GIS, XML, or HTML.

  • Experience working with data, reporting, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience in commercial mortgage lending, investment operations, or related financial services functions.

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, system implementations, or automation initiatives.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean practices for continuous improvement and project delivery.

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional business and technology teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve business outcomes.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

$76,250.00 - $129,750.00
