Job DescriptionTo complete comprehensive compliance reviews in line with Corporate policies and procedures and regulatory obligations for Standard Bank Offshore Trust Company Jersey Limited and Standard Bank Trust Company (Mauritius) Limited. To generate action items from the reviews, highlighting any Trust, Corporate, Statutory or Regulatory actions. To support the achievement of Business Control Unit objectives through control environment ownership and monitoring, to deliver a robust first line of defence.
QualificationsMinimum Qualification:
- Higher Certificate in Finance and Accounting
Experience Required :
- 8-10 years experience in Personal and Private Banking
- Front Office Experience in a Trust company
Key Outputs :
- Perform detailed reviews of all client files, ensuring that all data and documentation is accurately and correctly completed to ensure that the files comply with all Know you Client and other regulations.
- Identify all Anti-Money Laundering and fraud related risks and inform the Head BRM, compliance and risk management teams to ensure that such risks are mitigated.
- Inform the Head BRM of specific issues and prevalent administrative patterns identified during reviews to enable them to make the necessary improvements and maintain high level, compliant service.
- Keep abreast with changes to laws relating to the administration of Trusts and Companies that could affect business activities, analyse the impact of such changes and update the relevant review templates to ensure continued compliance and minimize the impact to business.
- Ensure adherence to applicable policies, systems, processes and procedures, to ensure that BRM administrative activities are completed within the relevant governance frameworks while consistently delivering a high-quality service.
