Position Overview:
Reporting to the U.S. Chief Operation Office, the Business Product Owner, Policy Administration Systems with play a lead role in shaping and executing the vision, roadmap, and business priorities for policy administration capabilities and transformation for Ascot U.S. In this role, you will lead modernization initiatives that improve how policy data and documents are captured, processed, managed, and accessed, enabling faster speed to market, stronger agent and customer experiences and improved underwriting and operational efficiency. Working within a cross-functional agile environment, you will partner across underwriting, operations, product, data, and technology teams to translate strategic priorities into high-value product outcomes. You will serve as the voice of the business in platform decisions, balancing stakeholder needs, delivery feasibility, and measurable value realization.
Responsibilities:
Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for policy administration systems and related modernization initiatives.
- Lead execution of transformation efforts in alignment with strategic priorities, business goals, and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders across Underwriting, Operations, Data & Analytics, Product, Finance, and other functions to shape requirements and deliver solutions.
- Work closely with delivery teams to deliver high-quality outcomes through rapid, iterative development cycles.
- Facilitate decision-making, identify dependencies, manage risks, and escalate issues as appropriate to keep delivery on track.
- Lead discovery, research, planning, execution, and measurement for assigned product capabilities and releases.
- Represent end users by gathering feedback, leading usability sessions, and supporting all change management initiatives.
- Champion process, technology, and experience improvements that strengthen service, efficiency, and speed to market.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- A minimum 7 years of progressive insurance experience with at least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Product Owner, or similar product oversight role.
- Strong understanding of specialty insurance product management, development, underwriting, digital best practices, systems, workflows, and offerings.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and driving alignment across business, operations, and technology stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, project management, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality results on time.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and lead change across multiple functions.
- Adaptable and future-focused mindset with strong digital fluency, a customer-centric approach, design thinking orientation, and data-informed decision-making skills.
- Experience with policy administration platforms or other core insurance systems strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting business transformation, process redesign, and change adoption in an agile delivery environment preferred.
- Ability to define and measure business outcomes, adoption, and value realization for delivered capabilities.
Compensation:
Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual cash bonus and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company.
The annualized base pay range for this role is: $135,000 - $145,000.
