The Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) will be a key resource on the Enterprise Analytics team, responsible for identifying business intelligence and data analysis needs in support of strategic business objectives across clinical and operational areas. The BIA 3 analyzes stakeholder requirements, identifies data needs and sources, and extracts and manipulates data using a variety of reporting and analytical tools to present information in a meaningful and actionable way. The analyst integrates data from disparate sources to provide new insights and develops visualizations, interactive dashboards, and other displays to communicate results effectively. Takes direction and guidance from senior analysts and department leadership to work towards enhancement of self and the team's capabilities around data and analytic competencies.

Required Experience: Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Epic (EMR), Healthcare Data Literacy.
Preferred Experience: Data Modeling for analytics and BI, Databricks (Spark SQL), Python, MS Fabric, Could -Based Platforms.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
With guidance, works on multiple complex and cross-functional business intelligence and data analytics solutions, to support various clinical/business areas including quality, patient safety, regulatory, clinical service lines and administrative functions.
Provides healthcare analytics support (e.g. predictive and prescriptive analytics, statistical analysis, data validation) to generate insights that can be transformed into action, and include a broad set of tools, processes, technologies, for collecting, integrating, accessing, and analyzing information
Develops automated reports, scorecards and dashboards using various BI tools, such as Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, and Crystal Reports, and guides users with data discovery and analysis via a high-level understanding of BI tool architecture, functions, features and capabilities.
Analyzes customer requirements and translates them into actionable information, with an emphasis on improving user productivity and business decision making.
Assists in the collaboration with IS and other departments to design, create, test, and implement analytic tools, databases, data workflows, and/or applications that support stakeholder needs, and to improve data collection and reporting strategies.
Establishes a good understanding of assigned data domain to support stakeholders and departments across the organization, in accordance with their clinical, operational, and other strategic efforts that require advanced analytical support.
Identifies, develops, and supports implementation of internal process improvement solutions that support the department’s goal to enhance clinical and operational performance improvement with data analytics.
Adheres to policies/guidelines for project management, time management, and supporting documentation.
Performs data quality and profiling activities for deliverables, ensuring that best practices are followed and information delivered from BI solutions is reliable and of consistently high quality.
Consults with other analysts for feedback and guidance regarding best practices and quality assurance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Bachelor's Degree Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field
Preferred Master's Degree Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or related field
5 years Business/Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Healthcare Analytics/Quality, Clinical/Operational decision support, or related field Required
3 years Experience with SQL in an Oracle and/or SQL Server environment Required
