Job Summary
FreeWheel is looking for an analyst to join our Global Reporting and Analytics team. The Global Reporting and Analytics team acts as strategic partners across the organization by helping stakeholders make fast-paced, data-driven decisions. This role is a vital component for FreeWheel's Marketplace business, which enables the most premium video inventory owners and buyers - such as TV Programmers, MVPDs, major digital media publishers, advertisers, agencies, and DSPs - to drive successful business outcomes at scale. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams to uncover growth opportunities, identify product enhancements, and develop robust reporting solutions. The successful candidate will require excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically while being analytical and detail oriented. The Analyst II will report directly to: Senior Manager, Global Reporting and Analytics. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work for Comcast in the United States without a current or potential future need for sponsorship. Core Responsibilities Develop and maintain reporting of Digital TV key business metrics using different BI tools for Freewheel constituents, including internal users, external clients, and executives. Conduct regular analysis of large-scale data sets to uncover opportunities to improve overall sales, inventory management, and yield strategies. Prototype and develop automated reporting solutions to monitor the health of the business. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology leaders to build out new product features and business processes. Ensure data quality and cleanliness for consistent and accurate reporting. Creating ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements.
Job Description
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience using data and analysis to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with a scripting language (Python or R).
  • Experience with Visualization BI tools (Looker and Tableau).
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Experience in advertising technology is a plus.
  • Skilled in synthesizing detailed analysis into clear narratives, facilitating strategic discussions across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Works with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
  • Determines relevancy of data and identifies alternative data sources as needed to ensure analytics requested by business stakeholders can be completed.
  • Analyzes large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
  • Queries disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
  • Combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete analysis.
  • Identifies key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Develops forecasting models to predict sales, demand and other key business metrics.
  • Analyzes the results of campaigns, offers or initiatives to measure their effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decisionmakers.
  • Promotes and evangelizes a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
  • Stays current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning and applies them to business challenges.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $79,338.66 - $119,007.99
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
