We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst I . This role involves collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support our Network & Field Operations end users and improve business performance. The resource will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions with our Engineering, Construction and Field Leaders and Technology Delivery teams. The BI Analyst works with data tools and platforms to create reports, dashboards, and data models that help stakeholders understand key performance metrics.
Role Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various structured and unstructured sources to generate insights, create dashboards and automate reports on key business metrics.
- Use Tableau, Toad, Excel, Alteryx and other tools to create visualizations and reports to explore and explain data.
- Work with large amounts of data, gathering, cleansing, analyzing and summarizing. Strong SQL skills are a must.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Support ongoing report and dashboard health and maintenance.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
- Support ad hoc data requests and analysis as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Technology and/or Finance
- The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
- Experience with SQL is key as well as a desire to build new skills
- Tableau, Power BI, Excel, OBIEE, MicroStrategy, R, Alteryx skills
Experience:
- Experience with creative and analytical analysis and visualization
- 2 years of data analytics experience working with a variety of data sources
- 1-3 years of experience working with Visualization Tools, i.e. Tableau
- Experience working in a large data environment doing SQL development.
- Information architecture, statistics, mathematics preferred
- Experience identifying data requirements and development reports with a close attention to detail .
USD 65,500.00 - 98,300.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
