  • Win, retain and develop customers through sales "hunting" activity by actively setting the appointments for face-to-face sales meetings with Customers and following the schedule laid by inside sales.
  • Assessing the prospective account as profitable, significant or strategic in order to secure winning bids.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customer's business and the market and support customer retention through collaboration with all resources including our Product teams, other sales channels and local Station Management.
  • Responsible for increasing gross profit and market share while developing ongoing relationships with new customers.
  • Rigorous follow-up of offers and client development.
  • Monitoring shipment cuts (lost clients) and implement counter measures.
  • Ongoing key customer analysis.
  • Execute strategic sales in line with company grows plan.
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to meet and preferably, exceed the given targets.
  • Ensure all sales activity (Meetings, Contact Reports, Opportunities and Leads) are reported within the CRM System "Sugar CRM" (according to SUGAR SOP).
  • Recommend solutions based on customer needs by using industry knowledge.
  • Managing opportunities and risks securing the interests of Rhenus A&O.
  • Taking part in all sales trainings provided and scheduled by Rhenus A&O.

What You Bring:

  • Requires a minimum of 1-3 years field sales in freight forwarding or two years of operational experience.
  • Good working knowledge of freight forwarding services, including ocean and air,
  • freight (import & export), consolidation.
  • Demonstrated competence in conflict management, decision making and strategic planning.
  • Strong hunter mentality / good communication and interpersonal skills/Outstanding negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think out of the box (Entrepreneur).
  • Strong work-ethic and integrity.
  • Native Spanish. Willingness to travel as well as fluency in written and spoken English.

Desired Skills and Experience SALES EXPERIENCE

Skills Required

  • 1-3 years field sales in freight forwarding or 2 years of operational experience
  • Good working knowledge of freight forwarding services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Native Spanish
