We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Lead to drive Auterion’s growth across the Nordic and Baltic defense and public safety markets. In this high-impact role, you will play a critical part in shaping and executing our regional strategy, working closely with sales and executive leadership to expand our footprint and accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge autonomous technology.

Leveraging your deep industry expertise and extensive network, you will engage key defense and government stakeholders, identify and qualify high-value opportunities, and lead them to successful deal closures. Collaborating with our Customer Success team, you will support clients from initial validation to large-scale operational deployment, helping to shape the future of autonomous systems in defense and public safety across the Nordic and Baltic regions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of Auterion’s go-to-market strategy within the Nordic and Baltic defense markets, aligning with our strategic growth objectives and regional security priorities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with defense ministries, military organizations, government agencies, and industry partners, positioning Auterion as a trusted provider of autonomous systems.
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities within NATO and non-NATO defense markets, with a particular focus on the Nordic and Baltic states.
  • Drive a high-impact sales pipeline, setting and achieving quarterly order intake and revenue targets while ensuring long-term business sustainability and growth.
  • Guide clients through the entire adoption journey, from initial engagement and proof-of-concept to full-scale operational deployment of Auterion’s technology.
  • Represent Auterion as a strategic thought leader at key defense exhibitions, industry forums, policy discussions, and government briefings across the Nordic and Baltic regions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent in a relevant technical field such as autonomous robotics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic consulting within the defense and public safety sector, with a strong focus on autonomous systems, unmanned platforms, or defense technology.
  • Established network within the Nordic and Baltic defense ecosystems, including connections with NATO-affiliated organizations, defense ministries, procurement agencies, and military stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully translating defense requirements into tailored autonomous technology solutions, guiding clients from early-stage engagement to full-scale implementation.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and represent Auterion in high-level industry and governmental engagements.
