Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving company growth by generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Prospecting: Generate new business opportunities through various media platforms such as publishing, advertising, and electronic media. Identify and target prospective clients to drive business growth.
  • Sales Strategy & Market Research: Analyze market trends and create innovative sales strategies. Conduct market research to understand client needs and identify opportunities for new products or services.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new clients and key stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Campaigns & Marketing: Develop integrated marketing campaigns in line with company goals. Work with the marketing team to execute plans that increase sales and drive revenue.
  • Team Leadership & Strategy Implementation: Lead and supervise the marketing team to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with senior management to formulate and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Budget & Performance Management: Manage the marketing budget and ensure activities are delivered within the agreed financial parameters. Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to management, suggesting improvements as needed.

Experience, Qualifications, & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in business development or marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, with strong presentation skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Certification in marketing, business management, or related field. Participation in relevant industry workshops, seminars, or training programs.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on team development and execution.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and drive collaboration.
    • Ability to adapt strategies based on market trends and customer needs.
