About the Role

sa.global is looking for a driven and talented Business Development Manager with proven sales expertise to join our dynamic team. Backed by a strong technical team, your primary responsibilities will include identifying business opportunities and generating new sales. This role requires building and maintaining successful relationships with both prospects and existing clients.

You will be capable of building strategic relationships at the CIO, VP, and Director levels while engaging tactically within divisional or departmental groups to develop new business opportunities and successfully close them.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a true hunter who is motivated by pursuing new sales opportunities and is eager to play a key role in the growth of our business.


Main Responsibilities

  • Develop opportunities by identifying potential clients within the target market and conducting appropriate research on prospective clients’ business and equipment needs.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with clients while establishing long-term, high-value relationships.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and closing.
  • Partner with sales teams to create winning proposals for current and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on time and as agreed.
  • Become a subject matter expert in our business products, processes, and operations, while staying up to date with industry news and trends.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities and proactively follow up on leads.
  • Sell business solutions and services to new clients.
  • Leverage global marketing campaigns and drive local demand generation activities that attract prospective and existing clients to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct regular account planning and business development sessions with Microsoft contacts to jointly target opportunities, develop offerings, and secure funding.

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive software sales experience with a proven track record of developing new client relationships and closing sales.
  • A demonstrated track-record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual quotas and performance targets, in B2B sales of Dynamics 365 or similar ERP products.
  • Proven success managing complex, long-cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative, and competitive market.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to understand and address business challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in initiating, negotiating, winning, and growing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong consulting acumen and a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 or other ERP products from both functional and business perspectives.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and proactively seeks opportunities to improve sales performance.
  • Demonstrates creativity and responds positively to new challenges and change.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic aligned with the demands, expectations, and responsibilities of the role.
  • Credible, articulate, confident, and tenacious, with the gravitas and credibility to build relationships with executives at all business levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with Marketing, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and other teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and the sa.global team.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to present confidently at senior levels.
  • Excellent relationship-building and management skills, with experience engaging with C-suite executives.
  • Self-starter who is highly motivated, collaborative, team-oriented, and maintains a positive attitude.
  • Strong innovation and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and industry-specific analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of some of the industry verticals in which we focus, with the ability to become a subject matter expert.
  • Consulting experience or prior experience working in a consulting firm is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related field is preferred.
  • Willing to travel to other locations.
