Our client in the supply chain and IT sector is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The role places strong emphasis on IT-enabled and digital solutions that support supply chain efficiency, workflow automation, and operational optimization. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet business needs and support sustainable growth.
Business Development & Sales
Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s supply chain and IT-enabled solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Understand client operations and recommend suitable digital, IT, or workflow automation solutions.
Serve as the key liaison between clients and internal technical teams.
Technical & Solution Support
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to design and deliver tailored client solutions.
Support product demonstrations, software walkthroughs, and client onboarding activities.
Participate in proof-of-concept sessions and pilot implementations where required.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
Prepare regular sales and business development performance reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical business practices.
RequirementsQualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Additional qualification or certification in IT or digital solutions is an advantage.
2–4 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles, preferably within supply chain, IT, or digital services environments.
Proven experience selling IT solutions, software, or technology-enabled services.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of IT systems, software solutions, or digital technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
