Job Description:
Business Development Manager: Industrial Applications/East-Central
The technical segment manager will provide expertise in industrial applications to identify PSAM, build the funnel and grow revenue.
Core responsibility
- Work closely with the sales team to identify customers in the industrial space (HVAC, UPS, Robotics, Chargers, Home and industrial Automation, White goods, Power Tools, Cameras, Asset tracking, Printers and POS systems, AV systems etc)
- Create targeted and specific “attack plan” including MPS value pitch for specific submarkets. Consolidate customer specific PL presentations and drive the customer technical engagement working closely with FAEs.
- Develop expertise on all MPS products applicable to industrial applications, crossing over between existing MPS PLs to provide total solutions from MPS portfolio in a consolidated manner.
- Develop collateral and support material (block diagrams, success stories) for MPS sales and FAE, related to targeted applications, to aid targeting and selling
- Support FAE with specific application knowledge, post-recommendation support with design and layout, provide expertise beyond what generalist FAE can provide on targeted applications
- Ownership in converting CRM opportunities to design wins in targeted applications.
