The Customer Application Engineer provides technical support, manages customer development programs, collaborates on system designs, and trains internal and external teams, focusing on power management solutions.

Coordinates with suppliers and internal teams on quality reports, engineering lot tracking, customer surveys, PPAP and compliance requests. Creates and distributes purchase orders, maintains supplier contacts, pricing lists, and related records, and supports component business issues.

Defines product strategy, analyzes markets and competitors, manages product launches, pricing, customer inquiries, promotions, advertising, and marketing collateral. Collaborates with IC design, applications engineering, sales, and communications teams while supporting customer visits and troubleshooting. Requires analog IC marketing or applications experience, power management expertise, strong communication skills, and a BSEE or equivalent. Travel may reach 30%.

Develops analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit layouts, including device placement, block implementation, signal matching, shielding, pad and ESD routing, and chip planning. Performs DRC and LVS verification, estimates die size and schedules, resolves verification issues, and independently completes chip tapeout according to company procedures.

Designs mechanical structures for high-power-density power modules using 3D and 2D CAD, tolerance analysis, material and manufacturing process selection, and mechanical simulation. Collaborates with thermal engineers to optimize thermal management, provides process guidance, and establishes mechanical design standards. Requires strong problem-solving, communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Define and debug analog and mixed-signal IC products, evaluate new products, develop application reference circuits, and create datasheets and application notes. Provide technical application support and training to key customers and field application engineers. The role requires strong analog and power electronics analysis, hardware implementation and debugging, MCU and DSP familiarity, C programming, and excellent communication skills.

Develop AI agents that improve productivity across HR, Finance, Product Support, Customer Service, and CAD Design. Build and integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation models, fine-tune open-source models, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, integrate AI into existing systems, and troubleshoot and optimize model performance.

Drive design-in activity and revenue within assigned accounts/territories; manage manufacturer reps and channel partners; collaborate with product marketing and engineering to win strategic design-ins; develop executive and design-engineering relationships; present to stakeholders and work as a self-motivated field/home-office sales contributor.

Lead customer-facing development of automotive power-management solutions. Provide technical support, build reference designs, debug and analyze ICs, influence product definition, author technical content, and train field teams. Travel domestically and internationally ~10–20%.

The Applications Engineer will support the customer with technical expertise in battery management systems, assist with evaluations and prototypes, and generate documentation.

The Senior Staff Digital Design Engineer leads the design and verification of digital and mixed-signal ICs, focusing on power management and related functions while collaborating across departments.

Lead the design of high-speed clocking blocks and analog/mixed-signal circuit designs for memory products, ensuring performance and adherence to specifications.
