The Business Development Manager, multi-industry, is responsible for managing all aspects of prospective and existing end user accounts; government institutions, fintech companies, banks, and generally the private and public market, in order to generate sales opportunities, revenue and ensure a productive and profitable business relationship.
Experience selling data platforms at a senior level (CXO, VP, etc.) is required.
Place of residence in Santiago, Chile.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and qualify business opportunities & potential partners.
· Work with partners / or directly for generate new business revenues as well as help protect and grow existing customer base.
· Introduce InterSystems products and services and build a pipeline of new activity.
· Plan sales strategy and drives new business revenues with government, mining or fintech organizations.
· Act as the principal liaison between InterSystems and end user accounts; develops and enhances business relationship by providing high levels of service and by encouraging contact with accounts at various organizational levels; develops and continuously updates account profiles.
· Utilizes internal resources to achieve sales objectives in an effective way.
· Maintain and strengthen the company's commercial relationships with local partners, recommending the application of our technology and seeking to extend its use and application to the challenges of our partners and their customers.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of the information technology market and providers
· Software architecture domain knowledge, especially around key topics and trends impacting information systems, including but not limited to Interoperability, Analitycs, Standards, Transactions, etc.
· 4+ years track record of information technology sales success
· Demonstrated experience selling software solutions into medium and larger companies or institutions.
· Partner scouting and development experience.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Prior experience working in an information technology area or company.
Education and Training:
· Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience, preferably in Information Technology or Engineering.
