Your work environment at EXP

In this role you will be a part of the Northeast Sector, based in NYC. We are an

entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary firm of approximately 4,200 professionals across North America with a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects across North America. 

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Work closely practice leaders, and project delivery staff when producing proposals, etc. with local offices and across regions/borders. Develop BD Strategies, participate in Go/No Go decisions.
  • Lead pursuit pre-positioning efforts.
  • Produce and maintain project pipeline.
  • Obtain information needed from consultant firms to be included in proposals.
  • Assist with or provide the initial mock-up of proposals for the proposal team leaders. Writes portions of the proposals as appropriate.
  • Brand ambassador.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Assist with awards submittals
  • Interact with EXP marketing and communications staff to obtain/exchange information as needed.
  • Update and maintain EXP’s CRM system / Deltek
  • Attend networking and industry events

 

What your experience looks like

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of Northeast experience in the AEC industry
  • Proven track record of building project teams and winning work
  • Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals, AEC industry terminology and delivery methods
  • Extensive experience in client facing role
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills
  • Persistent, enthusiastic and driven
  • Experience managing key accounts
  • Willing and able to travel

 

The pay range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
