What We Do

As a pioneering payments company building the African payments infrastructure for the next 100 years, Onafriq connects businesses to the continent through our global payment network.

We connect over 500 million mobile money wallets, 200 million bank accounts, and 400,000 agents in Nigeria. Our omnichannel network enables domestic and cross-border disbursements and collections, card issuing and processing, agency banking, and treasury services.

By linking mobile money operators, money transfer operators, banks, fintech companies, development organisations, and online and offline merchants to each other, we create a world of financial opportunities.

Our ‘network of networks’, backed by top-notch regulation and offices across Africa and others in the UK, US, and China, sets the stage for simplified access and growth. In 2023, Onafriq was honoured as the Fintech of the Year at the African Banker Awards, a testament to our impact and innovation in the financial sector.

We unlock access across the continent, driving one interconnected economy online and offline. Changing lives, communities, countries and our continent. Because where there’s access, there’s growth.
