Overview

We are looking for a qualified and motivated business consultant to assess and update business operations, provide expert guidance, and implement projects for our clients. The business consultant's responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing different aspects of the business, compiling data and reports, presenting recommendations, and guiding the implementation of new projects.

To be successful as a business consultant, you should have excellent communication skills and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients according to client’s requirements
  • Collect information about the client’s business through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.)
  • Organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients and according to client’s requirements
  • Analyze and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the causes  
  • Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to a client’s wishes, capabilities and limitations forming concise reports
  • Present findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice
  • Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes
  • Assist the client in implementing the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies
  • Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of business consulting experience (preferably at a large consulting firm)
  • Knowledge of diverse business matters (healthcare payor experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and work closely with stakeholders
  • Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
  • Aptitude in creative problem-solving
