Responsibilities
- Design and implement data schemas that align with Connected Communities Foundation (CCF) operational needs and workflows and facilitate efficient reporting for a variety of stakeholders including clients, community partners, funders, resident/community and investors.
- Work closely with CCF Program and Operations teams and stakeholders to understand workflow and reporting needs as they evolve, ensuring data architecture aligns with CCF’s strategic goals.
- Ensure architecture can scale with growing volume of data and reporting demands. Identify and implement system efficiencies to evolve user experience for both staff and residents (community surveys, automation and centralization of data intake, if/then workflows) to grow data capture from key operational touchpoints.
- Extract, clean, organize and design data flow from client property management platforms (RealPage, Yardi, MRI), 3rd party service provider platforms (AASC Online, Salesforce Family Metrics, FindHelp, Success Measures) and partner reporting platforms (Esusu, uAspire, Teledoc, etc.) to Winn data warehouse and CONNECT 360 with ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes.
- Transform and pair CONNECT 360 - generated data into a usable format for reporting.
- Cleanse and validate data during ETL process to maintain data accuracy, consistency and security. Ensure efficiency of ongoing SFTP process for new client adoption. Work closely with partners’ data teams to facilitate ongoing efficiencies in data integration.
- Maintain CONNECT 360 (Apricot 360) platform, serving as platform expert for team and partner support. Integrate new platform features and system capabilities as developed. Work closely with Program and Operations team members to develop and implement new use cases and subsequent workflows/ features as needed.
- Work with new clients to understand and implement their data and reporting needs. Implement data governance policies and practices to ensure ongoing security needs are met.
- Collaborate with CCF Program and Operations team, clients and partners to understand their storytelling needs and tailor visualizations of key performance indicators, workflows, and outcomes.
- Integrate visualizations into reports, presentations and other needed communication channels. Clearly articulate the insights derived from data visualizations, making information accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports to effectively communicate complex impact insights to stakeholders. Consider end-user experience when designing visualizations to ensure clarity, ease of interpretation and engagement. Work toward standardization of reporting and visualization presentations across disparate client operations.
- Working with CCF Program and Operations staff, create client, stakeholder, and CCF board of directors’ outcomes reporting. Work in Microsoft PowerBI based on client needs to make data and evaluation visible, accessible in real-time, efficient and effective. Work with clients to facilitate direct social impact/KPI reporting to investors and stakeholders.
- Work toward direct integration of HUD, regulatory organization, Investor, and Funder reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, respectively.
- Participate in ongoing research conducted by clients, partners, and CCF, serving as a data and evaluation point of contact for CCF participation.
- Work to standardize user experience (staff, client, resident, partner) across disparate operating methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3 - 5 years of related work experience.
- Advanced technical computer skills are required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suites.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases.
- Expertise in visualization libraries (e.g. Tableau, power BI, etc.)
- Proficiency in ETL processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel including advanced data modeling, creating interactive dashboard to optimize workflows and integrating excel with other data sources and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in impact measurement or social impact analytics.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools.
