Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for executing photo audits of MET-executed projects to ensure execution quality and compliance with project requirements within The Home Depot. The Business Analyst reviews store-submitted photos against project-specific guidelines and checklists, documents audit outcomes, and ensures audit pass/fail decisions align with project-specific audit checklists. The role also uses Tableau to generate charts and tables that summarize audit results and identify basic trends, exceptions, and opportunities for process improvements. This position serves as a key point of contact for photo audit-related inquiries and partners closely with internal teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent understanding and application of audit requirements. Strong attention to detail, process discipline, and clear communication are critical to success. The role supports ongoing process and reporting improvements and uses technology-enabled tools to improve audit efficiency and accuracy. The position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- 20% Plan and lead all phases of a project's life cycle (i.e. feasibility, design implementation, evaluation); this includes extracting the business need; defining the business requirements, understanding the impact on the business, and designing and carrying out the project(s)
- 10% Serve as liaison between merchandising and finance by facilitating meetings including both departments
- 10% Mentor other analysts in developing/honing business knowledge and analytical skills
- 20% Service as a subject matter expert and perform research and/or analysis within assigned projects
- 20% Multi-task to work on 2 to 4 projects simultaneously, recommending process improvements and making final project recommendations which impact the business
- 20% Establish and report on metrics of assigned projects to gauge business value
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Reports to a director-level position within merchandising
- No direct reports, however, the position will be required to mentor others who have the need for assistance
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently apply project-specific audit standards and guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external business partners

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in structured and ambiguous situations
- Experience working in structured, process-driven environments preferred
- Ability to adapt to evolving tools and process improvements
