We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support data-driven initiatives within a fast-paced FinTech environment. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, analysts, and compliance teams to ensure data projects are aligned with business goals, regulatory expectations, and internal customer needs. The ideal candidate has experience gathering and translating business requirements into clear data and process requirements, supporting delivery of reporting/analytics, and data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities related to data, reporting, and process improvement.
Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and data requirements.
Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
Perform data analysis to validate requirements, identify data gaps, create data products, and help resolve data issues
Support the design and implementation of data products and dashboards
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions across technical and non-technical teams.
Assist with UAT planning and execution, ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations.
Analyze/document current-state and future-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to data quality, reporting, and operational workflows.
Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, analysts, and compliance teams to support project delivery.
Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
Ensure data governance on data products (creation of business glossary, creation of data quality rules, documenting data lineage, etc.)
