Job Summary
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing commercial performance, market trends, financial indicators, and operational metrics. The role ensures accurate reporting, actionable insights, and performance tracking to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Reporting
• Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources (Sales, Finance, CRM, Distributor reports, etc.).
• Develop and maintain regular dashboards and performance reports (Daily / Weekly / Monthly).
• Track KPIs include. revenue, volume, market share, profitability, coverage, productivity, and promotional ROI.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
2. Business Performance Monitoring
• Monitor actual performance versus budget and forecast.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support monthly business review preparation with insights and presentations.
• Analyze pricing, discounts, rebates, and promotional investment effectiveness.
3. Forecasting & Planning Support
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Conduct trend analysis and predictive modeling.
• Assist in demand planning and sales target setting.
4. Market & Competitive Analysis
• Analyze market data (IQVIA, Nielsen, distributor data, etc.).
• Monitor competitor performance, launches, and pricing strategies.
• Provide insights on portfolio optimization and growth opportunities.
5. Process Improvement & Systems
• Improve reporting automation and dashboard efficiency.
• Support CRM and BI tool enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and internal compliance requirements.
6. Stakeholder Support
• Act as a business partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and business cases.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis upon management request.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharma, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Commercial Excellence, BI, or Finance.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Retail, or Distribution sectors is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• for internal candidates, minimum 2 year experience in iNova Pharmaceuticals with strong performance
Technical Skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas).
• Power BI or other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
• CRM system knowledge (e.g., Veeva) is a plus.
• Basic financial analysis knowledge.
