Job Description:

Our business analyst is one of the drivers behind our continued growth and success. Our business analyst should seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency, productivity, and growth. We are currently searching for a business analyst to help guide our organization into the future. From researching progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impact, our ideal candidate is a detailed planner, communicator, and top-notch analyst. An ideal candidate should be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape, but also be comfortable with routine.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Building reports and analyses for various business teams.
  • Create a data environment (dashboards & analytics tooling) through a variety of tools that is easy to navigate, comprehend, and give answers to common data questions, quickly and efficiently.
  • Presenting insights & recommendations to decision makers.
  • Translating business questions into analytical problems.
  • Leading new analysis initiatives to get more from our data.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Documenting and communicating the results.
  • Ensure accounting inventory and revenue compliance.
  • Act as a business partner to regional management on key drivers and action plans.
  • Analyse financial and business performance, looking for opportunities to drive further operational improvements.
  • Supports preparation of forecasts and budgets, including development of templates, structures, and information presentation.
  • Supports preparation of presentation for operations review and forecasting, as required.
  • Business process analysis and improvement.
  • Communicate data effectively to ensure that everyone is aligned and behind a data-led approach.


Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, finance, or information systems.
  • High proficiency with database management.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, Excel expert.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity.
  • Practical experience in generating reports.
  • Solution-driven.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Facilitation skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with SAP.
