Business Intelligence sits under Supply Chain team and is reposible for providing key analysis for all DA categories (Laundry, Refrigeration, Cooking & Vacuum) to drive market share gains by identifying opportunity and threats. The team is also responsible for managing data and delivering reporting efficiencies through technologies. Our focus is profit, turnover growth and operational perfection.
As the Subject Matter Experts of data analysis and market data, we will be working across DA business functions. As a relatively small team of three, we will be leveraging much of technical solutions (e.g. Qlik Sense, Macros) and problem solving skills to deliver.
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
-
Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on key topics within the DA business using internal and external data sources/platforms.

Product profitability analysis to drive efficiency in product ranging

Managing Channel Stock and Sales data to provided up to date view of channel executions

Collate competitor data from key retail destinations on pricing and activity.

Market analysis using market data (GfK, AMDEA) and retail price data
-
Work with wider business such as Business Innovation, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain Management to develop and analyse multiple sources of information

Collaborate with wider business to create harmonised view for the business to address risks and opportunities that can facilitate decision making.

Perform data validation on key data sources and reports (both Excel and Qlik Sense based)
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, sophisticated formulas, VBA macros ) essential

Experience in handling, manipulating and interpreting large data sets needed

Experience and understanding of Domestic Appliance market data needed
-
Good skill in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) and Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) products desirable

Experience of cross function projects desirable

Experience of using BI tools such as Qlik Sense, SQL desirable
-
Experience of using GfK GSE tool desirable
-
A positive and can-do attitude, calm and self-motivated.

Ability to work at a face pace, with accuracy in a changing environment

Phenomenal teammate, collaborative and communication skills

• 2 Stage Interview; Line Manager then wider team and SCM Leadership
• Excel and data analysis skills will be questioned in 1st Stage.
