The opportunity: 
The Business Analyst – CPQ is a senior expert responsible for driving optimization and continuous improvement of Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) processes and systems. Leveraging extensive consultancy and domain experience, you will analyze complex business requirements, architect scalable CPQ solutions, and ensure seamless integration across sales, product, pricing, and IT teams. Your leadership will drive strategic decision-making, business transformation, and operational excellence. 

How you’ll make an impact: 

  • Analyze, document, and streamline current CPQ processes to improve eĈciency, accuracy, and scalability. Identify business gaps and propose transformative process improvements. 

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to elicit, define, and prioritize business requirements. Translate complex business needs into robust functional specifications. Work with IT and development teams to design scalable and future-ready CPQ solutions. 

  • Lead development and execution of comprehensive test cases to validate CPQ configurations and workflows. Ensure solutions meet strategic business objectives and compliance standards. 

  • Partner with sales, pricing, product management, and IT to ensure alignment in CPQ strategy and execution. Influence and guide teams through data-driven insights and best practices. 

  • Monitor CPQ system performance and user feedback. Ensure integrity and accuracy of product, pricing, and customer data within the CPQ system. Maintain adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex CPQ issues. Provide expert guidance, ensuring seamless operations for end-users. 

  • Develop comprehensive documentation, user guides, and training materials. Conduct training sessions for new features, enhancements, or system rollouts. Drive improvement initiatives to enhance usability, speed, and data accuracy. 

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields like business, IT and engineering. Minimum 5+ years of consultancy experience, applying structured methodologies to deliver impactful business solutions. 

  • Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in CPQ, sales operations, pricing, product management, or a closely related functional area. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate and interpret complex data structures. Extensive experience in costing for Configure-to-Order (CTO) and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) products, including comprehensive Full Cost Modeling.  

  • Proven excellence in project management, with success leading multi-stakeholder initiatives. Technical proficiency in configuration tools and master data management systems.  

  • Hands-on experience with major CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, SAP CPQ). Demonstrated ability in business process mapping, requirements analysis, and digital transformation. 

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams.  

  • Background in sales and marketing, with strong commercial acumen. Prior experience in pricing will be considered an asset.  

  • Technical proficiency in data analysis, system configuration, and CPQ solution design. 

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of consultancy experience applying structured methodologies to deliver business solutions
  • At least 10 years of experience in CPQ, sales operations, pricing, product management, or a closely related functional area
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data structures
  • Experience with costing for Configure-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order products, including full cost modeling
  • Project management experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Technical proficiency in configuration tools and master data management systems
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, SAP CPQ, or comparable CPQ platforms
  • Experience in business process mapping, requirements analysis, digital transformation, data analysis, system configuration, and CPQ solution design
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Background in sales and marketing with strong commercial acumen
  • Prior pricing experience
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
