Role

We are currently seeking a passionate Business Account Manager to join our Australian sales team on a permanent basis and support an assigned territory across Northern NSW (Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth, Armidale, Ballina). This is a fantastic opportunity for a salesperson with a strong business consultant approach to partner with veterinarians and clinic owners and provide tailored solutions across a diverse range of products and services that include Provet (veterinary supplies), Technology Solutions (Practice Management Software) and AIRC/CCG (training & consulting services).

Our preferred candidate will be based out of Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Tamworth, or Armidale.

Your main responsibilities will include – 

  • Analysing relevant sales information and market data to identify potential business growth.
  • Developing mutually beneficial business relationships with potential customers, creating success through presentations that demonstrate our value proposition.
  • Supporting our existing customers to maximise their business opportunities through genuine consultation to their business and identifying opportunities to engage with sales and marketing initiatives and our value-add services.
  • Providing an all-round excellent customer experience through regular face to face contact with clients, strong follow through on requests and commitments, and working closely with other Covetrus employees to ensure a seamless customer experience.

About You

To be successful you will have;

  • A proven track record of achieving sales growth through leveraging new and existing business.
  • A passion for the animal health industry coupled with the ability to understand data to drive better outcomes for our customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting, value-add relationships within the animal health and/or agriculture industry.
  • A current drivers license and the ability to travel as required.
  • Previous sales experience in either the veterinary, pharma, wholesale, SaaS/technology or human health industries (preferred).
  • Bachelor degree qualifications in agriculture, animal sciences, business or similar (desired).

This position will require travel across NSW. Successful applicants can anticipate travelling away from home for at least one week per six week cycle.
