The Role

Brand Marketing Specialist

Position is hybrid and will require the employee to be in the Websterville, VT office two days per week.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Brand Marketing Specialist supports the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans that deliver against business objectives. Activities span digital, traditional, and event marketing, and benefit from an omni-channel understanding in order to drive demand, interest, and relevance for the Vermont Creamery brand and products with both consumers and customers. This is a generalist marketing role with growth potential and offers the right person a chance to make a real difference in a fast-growing company, and to further develop their already strong marketing and communications skill set.

Required Qualifications & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, with demonstrated strategic marketing mindset.
  • Digital marketing skillset and fluency in leveraging marketing software and social media.
  • Team player, who contributes with passion and humility to the goals at hand and develops and maintains strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills via all relevant means.
  • Passion for food and culinary culture.
  • Desire to be part of a mission-led business with a focus on sustainability; diversity, equity, and inclusion; communities; and thriving workplaces.
  • Strong project management skills and organizational skills.
  • Growth mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Experiences

  • 1+ years of continuous prior experience in any industry.
  • Self-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision.
  • Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team.
  • Able to be flexible in work performed and schedule.
  • Experience in the CPG or food industry, especially artisanal cheese and dairy.
  • Ability to perform intermediate design work within the Adobe Creative Suite.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements.
  • Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment when in a factory setting.

Salary range: $69,040 - $103,560
