How You Will Make an Impact
The PCT Demand Generation Manager is a senior individual contributor role responsible for driving demand generation, market expansion, and adoption of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s PCT biomarker portfolio across Vietnam.
This role plays a pivotal role in accelerating growth by shaping market demand, influencing key stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality execution of strategic demand generation initiatives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role partners closely with distributors, internal commercial teams, product management, and regional/global stakeholders to translate strategy into measurable business impact.
Key Business Objectives & Priorities
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and increased adoption of PCT through strategic and high-impact demand generation execution.
- Establish PCT as a standard-of-care biomarker across priority segments, including:
- Acute care hospitals
- Emergency departments and ICUs
- Respiratory medicine, pediatrics, and infectious disease
- Clinical laboratories and emerging segments
- Lead the localization and execution of demand generation strategy aligned with regional/global PCT direction.
- Enable distributors/partners and commercial teams with strong value propositions, clinical evidence, and engagement tools.
- Build and expand a strong network of KOLs and key stakeholders to accelerate advocacy and adoption.
Scope of Responsibility
Individual contributor (no direct reports):
- Full ownership of demand generation strategy execution and outcomes in Vietnam.
Geographic scope:
- Nationwide responsibility across Vietnam, with focus on high-impact cities and priority institutions (e.g., HCMC, Hanoi, major provincial hospitals).
Customer & stakeholder segments:
- Physicians (emergency medicine, critical care, infectious disease, respiratory medicine, pediatrics)
- Hospital decision-makers and administrators
- Laboratory professionals
- Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and academic societies
- Distribution and license partners
Strategic influence:
- Provide strong input into annual operating plans, demand forecasts, partner strategy, and mid- to long-term growth initiatives.
- Act as the local market expert, contributing insights to regional and global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive demand generation plans tailored to the Vietnam market.
- Lead high-impact scientific and educational initiatives (e.g., symposia, workshops, hospital programs).
- Develop and localize compelling, evidence-based value messaging.
- Drive strong collaboration and alignment with distributors/partners to ensure execution excellence.
- Identify, engage, and develop KOLs to build advocacy and clinical endorsement.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine strategies.
- Track, analyze, and report KPIs, ensuring accountability for business outcomes.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience
- 7–10 years of commercial experience (Sales, Marketing, Demand Generation, or Business Development)
- Proven track record of driving business growth and market development
- Experience working with distributors or external partners
- Strong cross-functional collaboration experience
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills (including without authority)
- Ability to operate independently with high ownership
- Strong communication skills (Vietnamese and English)
- Advanced project management and structured problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- High learning agility and adaptability
