Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in compliance with ISO 19650 and project requirements
- Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure effective information sharing across project stakeholders
- Lead BIM management activities, including ownership of BIM models, BIM/CAD deliverables, and quality control processes
- Coordinate consultants, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality BIM deliverables and compliance with BIM standards
- Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, design reviews, clash detection, interface management, and issue resolution
- Oversee federated model development, model integration, data management, and coordinate system maintenance
- Ensure consistent 3D modelling standards, asset data integration, and as-built information for operations and maintenance
- Support project delivery through BIM-enabled 4D, 5D, and 6D applications, including planning, cost, and asset management
- Monitor project risks, critical design issues, quality assurance, and mitigation actions related to BIM deliverables
- Support procurement, stakeholder engagement, software governance, and continuous improvement of BIM processes and digital delivery
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in BIM Management/Coordination within railway projects
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM standards, and Common Data Environment (CDE) management
- Proven experience in railway engineering, particularly Civil Works, Systems Design, Commissioning, and Interface Management
- Familiar with Revit models, Naviswork, Cabie tool to exchange models
- Familiar with Autodesk tools
- Excellent stakeholder coordination, quality management, and BIM leadership skills

Skills Required
- Minimum 10 years operative experience in BIM management/coordination in a railway context
- Working knowledge and application of ISO 19650 standards
- Railway engineering expertise, particularly civil works
- Experience in systems design and commissioning for rail projects
- Experience in requirements and interface management
- Proven ability to prepare and implement BIM Execution Plans and manage a Common Data Environment
- Experience producing and controlling federated models, model setup, linking shared models, and maintaining coordinate systems
- Experience with model checking, clash detection workflows and QA/QC checklists
- Experience coordinating 4D/5D/6D simulations and integrating BIM for asset management
- Ability to assist procurement teams with BIM capability assessments, tender development and supplier verification
- Additional railway-specific expertise
