Position Summary

The Billing Operations Support Specialist performs moderately complex administrative and billing tasks within the insurance brokerage business. Primary Responsibilities
  • Process invoices, premium payments, and billing adjustments.
  • Verify billing data for accuracy and correct routine discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records for audits and compliance.
  • Respond to internal inquiries and provide timely updates.
  • Assist in onboarding and provide informal guidance to B1 colleagues.
  • Follow established workflows and escalate non-standard issues.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of insurance billing practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with billing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and customer service orientation.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or insurance operations.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
