We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Operations Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will manage global billing operations by ensuring accurate invoicing, maintaining subscription data, and supporting revenue integrity. You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Experience to resolve billing issues, perform reconciliations, and improve billing processes that deliver a seamless customer experience.
ResponsibilitiesBilling Operations
- Manage the end-to-end billing and invoicing process for global customers.
- Validate invoices against customer contracts, subscriptions, and usage data.
- Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and issued on time.
Subscription & Revenue Management
- Maintain and update customer subscription data in Zuora.
- Ensure subscription records align with commercial agreements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies across billing systems, CRM, and contracts.
Reconciliation & Billing Accuracy
- Perform billing reconciliations across invoices, subscriptions, and customer accounts.
- Investigate billing variances and resolve issues with relevant stakeholders.
- Support month-end billing activities and revenue validation.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Experience to resolve billing issues.
- Communicate billing updates, adjustments, and resolutions clearly and professionally.
Customer Billing Support
- Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices and billing.
- Provide accurate financial explanations while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Process Improvement & Controls
- Support billing controls to ensure all billable services are captured accurately.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to strengthening order-to-cash processes and billing governance.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in billing operations, finance operations, accounts receivable, or a related role.
- Experience processing invoices, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting month-end billing activities.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience using ERP or billing platforms such as Zuora, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data validation.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or subscription-based billing.
- Experience with Salesforce, Stripe, or similar CRM and billing platforms.
- Experience using Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems.
- Experience supporting global finance operations.
- Knowledge of revenue validation, billing audits, and financial controls.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in billing operations, accounting, AR, or finance operations
- Experience in SaaS, shared services finance, or structured accounting environments
- Experience with billing or finance systems such as Zuora, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM tools
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivot tables, data validation)
- Exposure to payment platforms such as Stripe
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, particularly accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliation
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
