TITLE: BI ETL Developer III
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC
JOB SUMMARY: Design, develop, and support new and existing business intelligence (BI) solutions for business partners. Transform data into meaningful and accurate information. Participate in active discussions with team members and users to understand business requirements. Work closely with IT, Architecture, Business Analysts, and Report Developers to achieve business objectives. Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing data integration jobs using Amazon RedShift. Produce Ad Hoc Reports to answer business questions. Gather detailed business requirements, establish business definitions, and translate to technical requirements for development. Develop technology documentation to support production deployments as well as ongoing maintenance of reporting and data solutions. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data quality and performance issues. Communicate complex topics and analyses to non-technical business personnel. Provide management with accurate level of effort estimates for data integration development. Mentor peers and junior team members on BI solutions and operations. Work with data elements in the warehouse at a detailed grain to support research and ad hoc querying needs. Utilize advanced Excel skills to capture and communication data findings. Design SQL queries in large-scale data warehouse environments. Utilize ETL methodologies for data integration and development. Design databases to collect, extract, and report data.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering or a related field. 7 years of experience: designing SQL queries in large-scale data warehouse environments; utilizing ETL methodologies for data integration and development; designing databases to collect, extract, and report data to meet business needs; and delivering Information Technology or Business Intelligence solutions.
A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
