About the Client

An international transportation technology company focused on building scalable digital solutions for modern rail operations. The organization develops internal platforms and automation tools that improve operational efficiency, support business growth, and streamline complex processes in a fast-paced environment. 

Project Tech Stack

Kotlin, Spring Boot, Akka/Pekko, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Event Sourcing, CQRS, AWS, Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Microservices, RESTful APIs

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and maintain backend microservices for e-commerce platforms
  • Work in a cross-functional, self-organized Agile team
  • Analyze and drive technical improvements
  • Ensure high engineering quality through testing and code reviews
  • Take ownership of features end-to-end, from design to production
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing systems
  • Use modern development tools and AI-assisted engineering solutions responsibly
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience building backend systems with Kotlin
  • Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
  • Good understanding of OOP and Software Design Patterns
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
  • Knowledge of testing principles and engineering best practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production deployments
  • Strong communication skills in English
Nice to have
  • Experience with Akka/Pekko
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures
  • Understanding of Event Sourcing and CQRS
  • Experience with AWS cloud services
