The Opportunity
The AVP, IAM Process Optimization will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing automation strategies and solutions for Identity and Access Management processes. This role requires a deep understanding of IAM principles and technologies, along with strong leadership and technical skills to drive automation initiatives and optimize IAM operations.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future

  • Thorough understanding of existing IAM processes, including user provisioning, access reviews, and policy enforcement.
  • Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and areas for improvement within IAM workflows and procedures.
  • Define and implement the automation strategy for IAM processes, including user provisioning, access requests, role management, and compliance reporting to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure timely access management.
  • Execute implementation of optimized IAM processes, including integration with existing systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and business units to ensure that new processes are effectively integrated and meet operational needs.
  • Ensure that optimized IAM processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., , SOX, DORA, GDPR, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain documentation and reports related to IAM process changes, performance metrics, and compliance status.
  • Track the performance of IAM tools and processes, ensuring they meet organizational standards and objectives.
  • Develop and execute change management plans for process updates, including training, communication, and support for affected stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to users and administrators on new processes and tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IAM and process optimization.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on process improvements, performance metrics, and compliance status to management.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and automating complex IAM processes projects, with a focus on Identity governance and IAM compliance testing.
  • 5+ years of experience in working with industry leading IAM solutions
  • 5+ years of experience leading projects and teams, with a track record of successful automation implementations Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including user provisioning, access management, and compliance.
  • Well-developed ability to collaboratively develop and evolve a product backlog
  • Well-developed ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work
  • Advanced understanding and demonstrated abilities in support of the Lean/Agile mindset
  • Ability to influence/manage stakeholders
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and optimize complex automation solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and documenting processes.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience mentoring and guiding technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of current and evolving industry trends in Identity & Access at a global, enterprise level
