Scope:
- This position is responsible to research and implement automation ideas and improvements to the production floor. The engineer will need to understand the equipment and process for each work area on the production floor. Improvements will need to be identified and implemented in a timely manner. The engineer will also be responsible to research, maintain, and operate the 3D printers. Position reports to the Engineer Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with other members of engineering team to design / develop and implement 3D printed tooling
- 3D Mechanical Design of fixtures, grippers, tooling, brackets, etc. for robotic solutions
- Selection of components, materials, etc.

- Proficient in the use of Adobe, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, Solidworks
- Robust troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with little supervision.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to ITAR regulations)
Education:
- BSME with experience in robotics and/or automation and 3D printing preferred or a Technical degree and 5+ years engineering/technical related experience in robotics / automation / 3D Printing.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with conveyor systems and electronics manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience Dealing with suppliers and customer
- Project Management experience is a plus.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
