Job Description

Join the Operations Enablement and Automation team, a group of experts partnering with Operations Services (OS) to transform end‑to‑end business processes. We advise, design, and deliver automation solutions that drive efficiency and scalability across the organization.

As an Automation Engineer, you will work in a true end‑to‑end delivery model from discovery and requirements through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. You’ll collaborate closely with business lines and technology partners to bring impactful, high‑quality automations to life.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation Engineer (Power Platform) who will design, test, implement, and maintain automation solutions of moderate complexity and strategic importance.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust automation designs
  • Build solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools
  • Identify optimization opportunities and recommend the best technical approach
  • Drive development, testing, deployment, and enhancement of automations
  • Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Create clear documentation for automation functionality and operating procedures

This position offers the opportunity to shape automation standards, influence process transformation, and work with modern, rapidly evolving technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7–9 years of professional experience in programming, workflow logic, or automation of complex business processes

Preferred Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with strong hands‑on experience in Microsoft Power Platform, including:

  • Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model‑Driven Apps)
  • Power Automate (Cloud required; Desktop preferred)
  • SharePoint
  • Dataverse
  • Experience with Solutions and ALM within the Power Platform

Additionally:

  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience managing projects and collaborating in cross‑functional teams
  • Strong application development or programming background
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and navigate change
  • Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)

Additional Information

  • We offer a flexible schedule. On 2 days per week, we ask for availability during core hours 5pm–9pm Polish time (10am–2pm CST) to collaborate with US‑based teams.

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
