About This Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Automation Architect with strong Java Full Stack Development expertise to design and implement automation solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support Ericsson's strategic delivery goals. You will be a part of the BCSS Service Line Operate - Service Management Service Architecture team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and contributing to Ericsson's automation strategy by creating scalable, reusable, and impactful automation designs backed by full stack engineering capabilities.
What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation and full stack solutions.
  • Design and develop end-to-end Java Full Stack applications to support automation platforms and internal tooling.
  • Develop robust and scalable high-level architectures meeting customer and business needs using Java-based technologies.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
  • Develop responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using React.js or Angular, integrated with Java back-end services.
  • Design reusable frameworks, libraries, and modules to improve delivery speed and reusability across business units.
  • Lead use case creation discussions using data analysis to drive automation penetration across service lines.
  • Analyse customer requirements and optimize scenarios for efficient infrastructure use.
  • Engage in Automation, Analytics, and AI/ML-related solution roadmaps.
  • Ensure systematic validation and repeatability in automation outcomes.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members on Java Full Stack and automation best practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in automation, cloud-native development, and the Java ecosystem.

What You Bring
  • Degree in Engineering or Equivalent (ECE / CSE / IT) or MBA.
  • 6+ years of overall experience, combining Automation Architecture with strong hands-on Java Full Stack Development - this is a mandatory requirement.
  • Deep expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17) including Streams, Collections, Multithreading, Object-Oriented Programming, and Exception Handling.
  • Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture - design, development, deployment, and inter-service communication patterns.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and Web Services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
  • Proficiency with ORM frameworks - Hibernate and JPA, including query optimization.
  • Experience with relational databases - MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL/PLSQL - and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools - Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of API testing and database management tools - Postman, DBeaver, and SQL Developer.
  • Proficiency in additional programming and scripting languages - Python, Groovy, JavaScript, and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux platforms and system-level scripting.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML or data science concepts and their application in automation solutions.
  • Telecom domain knowledge is highly desirable.
