We’re seeking
an experienced and highly capable Odoo / Accounting Support Manager to oversee
the ongoing support, administration, optimization, and operational management
of the company’s Odoo ERP platform while also providing remote accounting and
financial support services across Papua New Guinea operations. This position is
a remote-based role requiring a proactive, technically capable, and self-driven
individual with extensive experience in Odoo ERP implementation,
troubleshooting, accounting systems, and financial process support. The
successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring stability,
efficiency, and continuous improvement of the company’s ERP environment while
supporting operational and financial reporting requirements across multiple
business divisions including equipment sales, hire, service, and parts
operations.
The role
requires close coordination with management, operational departments, finance
personnel, external developers, and ERP implementation partners to maintain
efficient business systems, financial accuracy, and streamlined operational
workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Manage, maintain, and support Odoo ERP
across all departments, including troubleshooting and user assistance.
- Ensure system performance, data integrity,
reporting accuracy, and process compliance.
- Coordinate upgrades, enhancements,
integrations, and external vendor support.
- Maintain documentation and drive workflow optimization
and automation.
- Provide remote accounting support
(reporting, reconciliations, month-end).
- Support AP/AR, general ledger, financial
controls, compliance, and audits.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting,
financial analysis, and ERP–accounting alignment.
- Support ERP use across warehouse, workshop,
service, hire, and sales teams.
- Monitor compliance, implement SOPs, and
deliver user training.
- Produce regular reports, track system
issues, and support KPI/performance analysis.
- Ensure
confidentiality and security of financial and operational data.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in
Odoo ERP implementation, administration, or support roles.
- Strong accounting and
financial systems knowledge.
- Experience supporting remote
business operations and ERP users.
- Strong understanding of
accounting principles and financial controls.
- High level of computer
literacy and ERP reporting capability.
- Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently
in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and
time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal
communication abilities.
- Experience within industrial,
construction, heavy equipment, mining, or related industries highly regarded
but not required.
