About the Role
We have an exciting, new opportunity for an experienced Atlassian Consultant to join a Platinum Solution Partner!
As an Atlassian Consultant, you'll be a trusted advisor and lead the implementation of Atlassian solutions for our clients. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to translate business requirements into effective Atlassian solutions. You’ll work closely with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to design, configure, and deliver Atlassian Products that drive operational efficiency and improve business outcomes. You’ll have the opportunity to lead workshops, gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of Atlassian Products.
This role is Sydney-based and requires regular onsite attendance at the customer location. Applicants must be currently located in Sydney or willing to relocate to Sydney. Remote-only arrangements are not available for this position. While we appreciate the value of in-person collaboration, we understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible working arrangements based on your needs and the team’s goals.
Please note you must be a citizen or resident of Australia in order to be considered for the position. Candidates with current security clearances slightly preferred.
What You’ll Do
As an Atlassian Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the design and configuration of Atlassian Products (e.g. Jira Service Management, Jira, Confluence, Atlassian Guard, Rovo, Bitbucket).
- Collaborating with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
- Implementing and configuring Atlassian Products including workflows, automations, customisations, dashboards, and integrations.
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert within the Atlassian Suite, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Providing ongoing support, issue resolution, and optimisation recommendations post-implementation.
- Working with a diverse range of clients across different industries, helping to drive transformation by implementing and optimising Atlassian Products.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- An Atlassian Certification (ACP) or working towards certification.
- Strong hands-on experience in Jira Service Management (JSM) including Solution Design, Implementation, Configuration and Workflow Customisation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud Migration (Server or Data Center)
- Experience with Rovo and Atlassian Analytics is highly desirable.
- Experience in the integration of Atlassian Products with other Atlassian Tools, Marketplace Applications and Third Party Tools.
- Experience in Security Configuration and Auditing.
- Experience in building and configuring Reports and Dashboards to meet Business Requirements.
- Expertise in gathering and analysing business requirements, and translating them into Technical user stories.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead client workshops and engage effectively at all levels.
- Solid understanding of ITSM and ITIL process.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.
