We are a fast-growing global reinsurance speciality company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd’s, Europe and North America.
We are seeking an experienced claims professional to manage quota share and mid-complexity assumed reinsurance claims across multiple disciplines and territories. The portfolio includes asbestos, environmental, abuse and toxic tort cessions.

Key Responsibilities
You will take ownership of claims from assessment through resolution, including reviewing treaties and facultative certificates, setting reserves, negotiating settlements and managing disputed matters. You will also oversee cedent relationships, conduct claims audits, identify savings opportunities and support due diligence for new acquisitions.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
• Right to work in this location
• 5+ years’ experience handling assumed claims and coverage matters
• Strong quota share experience
• Experience interpreting complex treaty programmes and facultative certificates
• Technical knowledge of long-tail claims, ideally including asbestos, pollution or abuse
• Strong negotiation, analytical and written communication skills
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a remote environment
• Four-year degree or equivalent professional experience
• Contributing positively to our culture and values.
