We are seeking a chartered accountant with proven expertise to join our team as an accounting manager in Surat, Gujarat. This role emphasizes sales booking processes and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) for a listed company while managing daily accounting operations.
Responsibilities:Sales Booking Management:
- Oversee and streamline all aspects of sales booking, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Lead the sales booking department, providing insights and strategies to optimize processes.
Core Accounting Operations:
- Manage month-end and year-end processes.
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, and treasury operations.
- Perform budgeting, cash forecasting, and revenue/expenditure variance analysis.
- Handle capital asset reconciliation, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt management.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial statements.
- Conduct FP&A for strategic decision-making.
Compliance and Audits:
- Establish and enforce accounting policies and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits to ensure compliance.
Process Improvement:
- Enhance systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions for efficiency and accuracy.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, with significant expertise in:
- Sales booking processes.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), preferably in a listed company.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Skills Required
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with sales booking processes
