Associate Test Lead

Testronic is seeking an Associate QA Test Lead to join their team. With a strong track record of success in delivering high-quality gaming experiences. In this role, the Associate QA Test Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating the quality assurance efforts.
The Associate QA Test Lead will work closely with the development team to devise test strategies, create test plans, execute test cases, and report bugs and issues. They will supervise and mentor QA testers, ensuring that testing activities are conducted efficiently and effectively to meet project timelines and quality standards. The Associate QA Test Lead will also collaborate with other project leads to ensure smooth coordination and communication across disciplines.

• Take ownership of tasks or projects under supervision of Project Manager and/or Project Lead.

• Complete assigned tasks accurately and thoroughly, and within a specified timeframe.
• Ensure that client briefings, Testronic process and general best practices are followed by all Technicians.
• Assist in Test Design and Test Case Creation when required.
• Assist in identifying and communicating staffing requirements and absences.
• Inform supervisors of any issue that may slow down, stop - or improve - testing progress as early as possible and proactively communicate to internal and external stakeholders accordingly.
• Assist and mentor testers.
• Perform line management of QA Technicians.
• Perform staff evaluation of testing staff in the monthly ‘Tester Evaluation’ system.
• Assist with preparation of data and presentation slides for client meetings and reviews.
• Attend mentoring and goal settings sessions with Line Manager.
• Ensure worktime tracking of assigned team members is correct and adjust any errors as necessary.
• Adhere to company security procedures and escalate perceived breaches to supervisor.
• Apply and comply with company policies and procedures and enforce them.

• Proven experience in leading QA teams and coordinating testing efforts.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Excellent understanding of the game development lifecycle.
• Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases.
• Ability to identify, report, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
