Associate Talent Manager

The Role & What You’ll Do:

IMG Talent is seeking a motivated & talented person to join our talent management team, to assist in the management of a portfolio of leading talent across entertainment, sports & digital creators. This role is ideal for someone seeking a long-term career in Talent Management, with the opportunity to work with some of Australia’s leading talent and learn from some of the leading talent managers in the industry.

A background in Talent Management & Influencer Marketing, including previous social media campaign or talent management experience, either working within agencies or brands, and a strong knowledge of social media tools are essential to this role. 

Key responsibilities include:

Working alongside Talent Managers and assisting them in the procuring, servicing and maintenance of all aspects of a select portfolio of talent affairs in addition to working across the broader business.

• Managing the fulfilment, administration and logistics for designated Talent endorsements/ campaigns/ PR activity/ & social media including but not limited to – Talent agreement negotiations and processing, invoice requests, social media content fulfilment & reporting, attending and coordinating logistics for events & shoots.

• Participate in strategy development & implementation for selected Talent including – achievement of business & marketing objectives, social media content strategy, and implementation.

• Procurement & management of new business opportunities for Talent, including sales outreach to brands and agencies, and preparation of related sales materials & post campaign reports.

• Identifying & recruiting new talent to the IMG Talent portfolio.

• Respond to incoming commercial briefs for your portfolio of talent and general talent briefs, including negotiation of fees, in consultation with respective talent managers.

• Procurement & management of new business opportunities for the client division generally, including the management & fulfilment for brand consulting clients.

• Coordinating appearances, invitations and requests relating to selected Talent.

• Any other duties assigned to you from time to time.

You will need to be self-motivated; results driven and thrive on working autonomously and as part of a team as well as having an understanding and passion for the world of talent, digital content and social media.
