Job DescriptionRole - UX Designer

Job Overview:
- UX Designer What you will do Design flows and interfaces for high-stakes clinical interactions, drug lookup, IV compatibility warnings, dosing by patient population, toxicity alerts Create and maintain a design system that scales across our web, mobile, and EHR-embedded surfaces while meeting WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Translate dense clinical data (dosing tables, compatibility matrices, formulary tiers) into layouts that reduce cognitive load during time-critical decisions. Partner with medical content editors to ensure UX hierarchy and labeling accurately reflect clinical severity and evidence levels.
- Collaborate with engineering to deliver precise design specs and ensure implementation fidelity.
- Advocate for patient safety in design reviews by flagging patterns that could introduce errors.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of product/UX design experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare, clinical, or life sciences software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex information architecture and data-dense interface design Proficiency in Figma including component libraries and auto-layout.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design Ability to read and parse clinical content.
Nice to have:
- Background in pharmacy, nursing, or health informatics.
- Experience designing within or alongside EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Knowledge of HL7 FHIR and how clinical data flows between systems
- Familiarity with Search & AI systems Experience with neonatal or pediatric-specific clinical tooling Prior work in point-of-care mobile applications.
