Why Avid
At Avid we empower storytellers, musicians, and filmmakers to make media that matters. Our Revenue Operations organization turns that same creative energy inward—arming our Sales teams with insight, process excellence, and the data-driven discipline that accelerates growth. If you love digging into numbers and partnering directly with field reps to turn analytics into action, we’d love to meet you.
Your Impact
As the Sales Operations Business Partner for the Americas, you’ll sit at the center of pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and deal execution. You’ll translate data into crisp, trusted narratives for regional Sales leaders, ensure every rep has a balanced book of business, and relentlessly hunt down the root causes that slow revenue momentum. Success means tighter forecasts, cleaner data, faster deal cycles—and a Sales team that sees you as an indispensable ally.
What You’ll Do
- Forecast & Pipeline Insight
- Deliver weekly analysis on pipeline, bookings, and revenue; highlight trends, risks, and upside
- Provide deep-dive reporting on large deals, run-rate business, and services revenue—connecting insights to quota coverage and close-rates.
- Planning & Quota Management
- Drive the annual operating plan split, territory design, and quota deployment; ensure every territory is equitable and opportunity based.
- Maintain compensation and quarterly incentive program data cross-checks; flag anomalies before payroll cut-off.
- Business Partnership & Escalations
- Serve as the go-to escalation point for Sales on order booking, supply-chain, and order-management issues; shepherd resolutions cross-functionally
- Build trusted relationships with field teams and functional leads—translating their challenges into scalable process fixes.
- Process Excellence
- Lead root-cause investigations on booking delays, product allocation, and data hygiene; drive cross-functional corrective actions that stick.
- Champion CRM and data-quality initiatives to keep our forecast posture reliable and audit-ready.
- Ad-hoc Analysis & Reporting
- Field urgent requests for dashboards, product-mix analytics, and executive readouts; distill complex data into clear, visual stories.
- Own AMER bookings reconciliation to ensure revenue integrity.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Analytics—preferably in enterprise software or SaaS.
- Fluency with Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), BI tools (Tableau/Power BI), and Excel / Google Sheets. SQL or Python a plus.
- Proven track record influencing senior Sales leaders with data-driven storytelling and clear recommendations.
- Strong grasp of territory planning, quota setting, compensation mechanics, and forecast methodologies.
- Bias for action, continuous-improvement mindset, and the grit to chase down answers across functions and time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree welcome.
